We're not running a link-exchange scheme — every link in either direction needs to make sense to the reader on the page it sits on.
A few rules
- Don't recreate the wordmark in CSS. If you want the actual logo, use the SVG from /press. The typography is part of the brand.
- Don't imply affiliation. Bluewatch is independent. We don't partner with fire services, unions, suppliers or training providers — anyone presenting a link as a partnership is misrepresenting us.
- Disclose if the placement is commercial. If your page is sponsored, affiliate, or otherwise paid placement, add
rel="sponsored"to the link, per Google's guidance. - No bulk link networks. We'd rather have ten organic links from sites whose readers genuinely care about firefighter recruitment than a thousand from auto-generated directory pages.
