Newark Fire Division

The Newark Fire Division is the fire suppression and emergency response agency for the City of Newark, New Jersey — approximately 305,000 residents across roughly 25 square miles, the largest city in New Jersey and one of the major US East Coast working ports. The Port of Newark / Port Elizabeth complex is one of the largest container ports in the western hemisphere; Newark Liberty International Airport (covered by a dedicated Port Authority ARFF; the Fire Division provides mutual aid) is one of the busiest US passenger airports.
